Free library membership on Khorramshahr liberation day

General manager of Culture and Islamic Guidance Administration of Khorramshahr announced the administration’s programs for the anniversary of Khorramshahr liberation. Free membership for library clients is among the programs.
IBNA: In an interview with IBNA, Mohammad Jurvand, said that the programs are aimed at promotion of the book-reading culture in the city.
As he said, a Sacred Defense book fair is being held near the city’s largest mosque presenting various books on Sacred Defense, the Islamic Revolution and religious topics.
“Over 2,500 book titles in the fields of poetry, fiction literature, narrations, history and the like are being showcased at the book fair,” he added.
He further added that the fair is arranged jointly by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the city’s administration of the public libraries.
He went on to say that Martyr Sharif library will be reconstructed. The library was used as a shelter during the Sacred Defense where many Iranian soldiers were martyred in it.
He also added that a book fair exhibiting the latest Sacred Defense publications will be held in the city during the days of the anniversary.
