In a meeting with the culture minister, head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and Iran's foreign agents, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei asserted that the real sovereignty of the country is the one based on culture.

IBNA: According to the Leader's information center, in the meeting he insisted that displaying the right image of the Islamic Republic system to the world based on Iran's realities and developments in the current era besides propagation of the Persian language and literature are the main duties of the cultural agents in other countries. 

The Leader added that in case cultural issues "are addressed properly and effectually, many possible vacuums in the diplomatic, commercial and economic arenas will be filled." 

He underlined the cultural methods employed by the colonialist countries for reaching their ill goals and stated that "such countries pursue their hegemonic targets by their cultural moves while in the Islamic ruling system which is based on righteousness and pure divinity, such methods should be employed more prevalently." 

He said the real seclusion is cultural seclusion and added that provided that cultural issues are addressed properly, "no country in the world shall remain secluded." 

He further signified the activities of cultural agents and said they are acting at Iran's cultural fronts in international arenas and the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) is in the center of the front. 

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei went on to articulate the chief responsibilities of Iran's cultural agents and stated "displaying the right image of the Islamic revolution and republic to the people and officials of the world is one of the greatest duties of cultural agents." 

"So far as the propaganda of the hegemonic powers of the world is directed towards defaming Iran's name in the world, this is really crucial for the cultural agents to display the right picture to the people of the world about Iran." 

He exclaimed that for presenting the right image of the Islamic system, a correct understanding of Islamic concepts is needed. 

"The cynics and imperials are trying to introduce an Islam to the world which is either an antediluvian Islam or an ineffective liberal one, while the real and pure Islam is intended by the Islamic ruling system which enjoys profound understanding about human being, God, the future world, terrestrial necessities and human spirituality. 

He further added that other responsibilities of cultural agents are announcing the scientific, literary and arts developments of the country.
