Book Week motto; Inclusive and Attractive
Mehdi Mohebali: The 18th Book Week motto will be selected during the 3rd Book Week session which, form different point of views, will have a great influence on national and international readers. IBNA: The book week motto, a symbol which is considered throughout the Book Week in the country and released by the media, is a sign of the cultural week.
For selecting the Book Week name usually many discussions are made and finally according to the member's accordance and among the suggested names, a sentence or few words are picked up as the week's motto.
While that the name of "motto" itself relies on the matter's symbolism, perhaps for selecting such a thing word's complication may not be considered.
"Let's read a book every month" was selected as the 16th Book Week motto. For the 17th edition 3 words were selected as the motto; Book, Sagacity, Capacity and finally the motto of the 18th Book Week will be decided during the 3rd Book Week session.
As boosting cultural activities are considered during the 18th edition so picking a translatable name is concerned else communicating with the motto which is published as a symbol will be arduous.
The motto's publicity and inclusiveness, communicating with books and reading, beauty of the phrases and words, attractiveness and many more things could create excellence.
Moreover according to psychology the phoneme of the selected words should enjoy stability so the reader could express a positive respond.
On the other hand we know that the book reading society would never react if cliché words are selected and the matter should maintain innovations.
Furthermore as a noteworthy point children and teenagers are among the week's main goals and their needs should be considered while selecting the week's motto.
In order to encourage books and reading many countries have considered satire literature which could be an attractive filed for motivating the book reading society in Iran.
