At the Book House Institute Manuscript-editing workshop held
For the first time in its history, the Book House Institute has arranged manuscript-editing courses to be conducted by editor of old texts Ali Ojabi. IBNA: "No such workshops have been held by the institute before," said Ali Ojabi, an expert in editing old manuscripts, in an interview with IBNA. "The only related activities were conducted by some experts in their articles or presentations."
He said he received many requests for such a workshop in the recent years.
"The courses will be held in two phases of theory and practice, and interested learners can attend both phases," he added.
He said the start of the workshop was not publicly announced, "because we were sure the classes would be teemed with learners causing some difficulties."
So far, two sessions have been held and general issues have been talked about, he added.
The issues were the meaning of editions, history of edition, the issue of edition, definitions for edition, edition methods, edition status, edition goals, and benefits of edition.
The video recordings of the sessions will be sold after the courses are over by the institute. Id : 130570 |
