The first session of the book workgroup of Children Sports & Games Association was held Monday, April 23, morning in the association located at Hijab Ave.

IBNA: Mehdi Azar Barzin, the head of Children Sports & Games Association said:" During the new Iranian year the association's main concern will be books through which we will pursue our goals."

Talking about the workgroup he added: However the existing children's books are good but the association has decided to release some books in order to present its considered texts as well as the production of cheaper works."

The session was held on the methods of book production, programs of promoting book reading between the kids and families, reading medals for encouraging children to read as well as choosing a name for the association's publication.

Azar Barzin added:" Choosing an appropriate subject, book's design and attractive illustrations draw the children towards reading. Subjects including games, sports, poetry and children's stories as well as regional games can be considered."
