Conference on Iranian dialects to be held
The first International Conference of Iranian Languages and Dialects (past and present) will be held for two days beginning on Thursday (June 7, 2012) at the center of the Great Islamic Encyclopedia. IBNA: According to the public relations of the Center for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia, the conference will begin on Thursday morning with a speech by Dr. Ali Ashraf Sadeghi. Dr. Sadeghi’s speech will be about the neglected aspects about old Shirazi dialect.
Passive structure in Kurdish dialect, the structure of verbs in Kumzari dialect at Larak Island, historical phonology of Tati Dialect of Karingan, and the etymology of several Tabati terms are some other issues which will be discussed during the conference.
The articles will be presented by scholars like Dr. Gholamhussein Karimi Doostan, Hussein Mohebi Bahmani, Dr. Esfandiyar Taheri, Dr. Abolghasem Esmaeil-poor, and Dr. Saloumeh Gholami.
Moreover, Drs Zhaleh Amouzegar, Badrozaman Gharib and Mahmoud Bijan Khan will be the members of the conference’s board of directors. Id : 139382 |
