11 poetry collections shortlisted for Book of the Season Award

Secretariat of the 20th Book of the Season Award has announced the shortlist of the award's poetry section. 11 poetry works have been listed for the final stage.
IBNA: According to the information dissemination website of the Book House Institute, 11 poetry collections have been shortlisted for the 2nd judging phase.
Works by poets including Mohammad Javad Shah-moradi, Alireza Dehruyeh, Ali Houshmand, Jacob Hazrati, Soudabeh Amini, Behroz Sepidnameh, Leila Kordbache, Akbar Eksir, Abbas Bagheri, Qasem Sarrafan, Saeed Biabanaki are among the list.
The 20th Book of the Season Award will be held on June 19 in Sanandaj. Following the 19th edition which was held in Shiraz, this is the 2nd edition which will be held in a city other than Tehran.
The book of the Season Award is held in order to support top books and authors as well as encouraging writers, translators and editors, promoting the Islamic society's knowledge and culture and developing the culture of reading.
