Following the 19th Book of the Season Award, which was held in Shiraz, Deputy Minister of Islamic Guidance and Culture of cultural affairs Bahman Dorri said:" We may not be able to hold all the four editions outside Tehran but we will do our best to at least hold two session in other cities."

IBNA: Following the 19th Book of the Season Award, which was held in Shiraz, Deputy Minister of Islamic Guidance and Culture of cultural affairs Bahman Dorri said:" The 19th edition was a distinguished one and the number of submitted works increased as well."

He added:" The 19th Book of the Season had several factors; it was held in another city than Tehran which indeed is significant for decentralizing the festivals from Tehran."

Moreover the judge's preciseness and the effective supervision of the scientific board on the juries were the other factors.

Dorri finally said that the Book of the Season Award is a significant festival and it is the base and introduction for Book of the Year Award.

The Award honors the authors of superior books and so far 19 editions have been held.
