In the meeting "The reflection of Quran in the ideas of Molavi", researcher and writer of "Moshef Khamushan", Dr Kazem Mohammadi Vayeghani, said: Molavi is the representative of Islamic mysticism and Mathnavi Manavi is the melodic representation of his interpretation.
IBNA: This meeting was held March 8, in the locality of the House of Literati. Dr Kazem Mohammadi Vayeghani and Mohammad Yaser Hedayati were the speakers in this meeting. The meeting was held for analyzing, the works, thought and life of Molavi; the concept known as "The popularity of Molavi" in the world was also discussed.

At the beginning of the program, Mohammad Yaser Hedayati said: This meeting is based on two works of Dr Mohammadi about Molavi "Moshef Khamushan" and "Molana and the translation of Quranic phrases".

Then Dr Mohammadi Vayeghani referred to Molana as a Muslim and even Shiite mystic saying: Molana is not only strong in the religion's theories but he also practiced the rules in everyday life. He was not only a theoretic mystic but a practitioner mystic. Unfortunately in some of the newly fashionable sessions on Molavi he is deprived of the spiritual qualities.

He considered Mathnavi Manavi the result of Molana's gained wisdom written in the last 15 years of his life and said: In this work you cannot find a page where there is not a reference to the Quran or other Islamic scriptures. I consider Molana a Muslim mystic and Mathnavi, his master piece based on Quran.

Dr Mohammadi commented on some of the new sessions on Molavi's mysticism that try to neglect the religious aspect of Molavi's work saying: People who usually interpret his works as such are not familiar with the religion. They believe that having religious beliefs is limitative and in order to reach the highest mystical level one should let go of one's religious obligations.

The writer of "Moshef Khamushan" said: We should search Molavi in his own work. Molavi's view of Quran is different from ours. He sees it as a beautifully weaved cloth that can be used from both sides. It is praiseworthy and magnificent.

He said: According to Molana, Quran is the complete work that shows you the way to God and the manners and thoughts of the prophets are manifested in it. Not only does Molana consider a new and different interpretation of Quran but also he believes that the words used in Quran are different, he believes they are celestial and their quality is different from the quality of words used by us.

Then, Mohammadi talked about the book "Molana and the translation of Quranic phrases" saying: This book presents all the lines of Mathnavi based on Quran and mentions that this book was composed at a time when Molana knew all the lines of Quran by heart.

The speaker of this meeting added: Mathnavi was not written in home and while Molana was alone. He had no previously constructed structure for it in mind. Molavi poured out the melodies in the bazaar, at home, at school and while preaching and as an answer to the questions of others.

Dr Mohammadi added: In Mathnavi nothing was decided beforehand. In this book Molana talks about the 114 Suras of Quran beautifully and this shows that he had all of them in mind. He used them in the verses in a simple language and this shows that he was an expert in interpreting Quran.

In the final section of the meting he talked about "Moshef Khamoushan": When I first decided to find the Quranic allusions of Divan Shams I did not know that they would be so many. What especially astounded me was that the Quranic allusions in Divan Shams were even more than the Quranic allusions of Mathnavi.

This researcher added: Divan Shams is more diverse considering the times and places of the sonnets' composing, still the 114 Suras of Quran are beautifully interpreted in it in verse. It is interesting to see how Molana interprets Quran in verse and with a simple language that was easy to understand by common people.
