Mentioned during a session Iranian publishers, Iraq Universities should expand cultural interactions
During a session held in the 25th Tehran International Book Fair, entitled "Professors and researchers of Iraq Universities", deputy of SAMT organization's international affairs said:" Iranian publishers and Iraq Universities should expand their cultural interactions and one of the best ways is translating books." IBNA: The session of "Professors and researchers of Iraq Universities" was held on Tuesday evening, May 8, in the 25th Tehran International Book Fair's House of Literati.
During the session, deputy of SAMT organization's international affairs Seyyed Javad Abolqasemi introduced the center and said:" Following the Islamic Revolution, the organization tried to release Islamic texts for universities considering the problems of academic works. So far the organization has published 1600 titles for 40 academic fields and more than 33m copies.
He added:" The center communicates with Iraqi universities and we have held workshops for expanding the ties as well. Moreover we have tried to present our books to Iraqi universities."
One of the problems of Iraq's universities is the lack of Arabic books about Iran in which we are eager to activate. The center is ready to offer its books to Iraq's universities as well. Id : 136988 |
