During the 25th Tehran International Book Fair, for the first time, universities, research, governmental and industrial centers can subscribe for 75,000 electronic book titles.

IBNA: Member of Rose System Company's board of directors said:" The ACC or Academic Complete Collection holds books of 500 noted international publishers which includes 120 academic publishers. Annually more than 4000 new book titles are added to the collection. Currently more than 19.2 million users have access to the collection."

Hamid-reza Sanie' added:" The universities can select and purchase their subject at the Academic Complete Collection. The work holds 300,000 e-books covering around 90% of credible and new academic books."

Moreover he said that DL+ (Digital Library Plus) is an advanced system which gives you simple and one step access to all your electronic resources. You can browse and search all Databases, E-Journals, E-Books & References in the digital library Alphabetically (A-Z) or by subject and also find the relevant ranking information.

Studies reveal that accessing e-books has enjoyed the highest growth in the publishing industry. Moreover many libraries are considering the format of e-books nowadays. This is while many grand publishers, through a long term program, are planning to substitute print books with e-sources, he added.

E-sources are being welcomed warmly for their affordable prices, easy access, low maintenance costs as well as their search tools, he added.

Sanie' said that Rose System Company (as a representative of IIN) will attend the Tehran Book Fair. The company has planned to present more than 300,000 e-books during 2012 which will include a selection of best books of great international publishers.

In other news he added:" Rose System Company has prepared a special package for scholars, students and doctors, for them to gain access to a collection of 75,000 e-books on tablets which will be presented the 25th Tehran International Book Fair.

The company will hold a stall at the book fair's foreign publisher's section.

The 25th Tehran International Book Fair will be held from May 2 to 12, 2012 at Tehran's Grand Imam Khomeini Prayer Ground with the motto of "A Quarter of a Century of Cultural Jihad".
