The ninth edition of Tehran’s book fair named “Remembering the Kind Friend” (Yad-e Yar-e Mehraban) will conclude today, Nov. 13, with the attendance of more than 560 publishers and the presentation of 21,000 works.

IBNA: The book fair's executive manger Mohsen Amu-shahi said:" Most of Tehran's schools visited the fair so far (some 80%)."

Mohsen Amu-shahi said that the 9th edition hosted the social-cultural deputy offices of Tehran's municipalities. Inviting the offices and their attendance in the fairs were made with an aim to boost different schools' interaction with social-cultural centers and informing the offices about the school's cultural needs.

Following the ninth edition of Tehran’s book fair named “Remembering the Kind Friend", the academic book fair will be mounted, which will be held with the cooperation of Islamic Guidance and Culture Ministry and the Union of Academic publishers.

The ninth edition of Tehran’s book fair named “Remembering the Kind Friend” was inaugurated at Tehran’s Goftogu Park here on Tuesday.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for Cultural Affairs Bahman Dorri, Minister of Education Hamidreza Haji-Babaii and Majlis speaker Ali Larijani.
