For the second time the festival of Book of the Season Award will be held in a province other than Tehran. Kurdistan will be hosting the 20th edition late spring.

IBNA: Secretariat of the Book of the Season said that the festival will be held late spring.

Moreover the manger of Kurdistan's Islamic Guidance and Culture Office Qobad Meimanat Abadi told IBNA that the festival's exact time isn’t planned yet but according to the secretariat it will be held end of spring.

So far 19 editions of Book of the Season Awards are held while 18 of them were held in Tehran. According to the decision of the cultural deputy office of the Islamic Guidance and Culture Ministry, the 19th edition was held in Shiraz for decentralization.

The 20th edition will be held in Kurdistan which will praise best winter books.
