Promotion of reading culture as well as elevation of the state of individual and social health are the main goals of holding Salamat (health) Book Fair in Tabriz.

IBNA: Gholamreza Doostzadeh, public relations manager of Tabriz Medical University said the book fair is held by Tabriz Medical University in cooperation with the Bureau of Culture of East Azarbaijan in order to familiarize visitors with the latest publications on public health and especially health of the elderly. 

The book fair presents over 1000 volumes on hygienic, health, fitness, nourishment and physical exercise. 

Doostzadeh added: "No previous exhibition of the kind has ever been held here and the present book fair is estimated to face good public reception considering the geographical location and good advertisement made by the media." 

Public relations manager of Tabriz Medical University asserted that promotion of reading culture as well as elevation of the state of individual and social health are the main goals of Salamat (health) Book Fair in Tabriz that is being held concurrent with the national Health Week. According to him, all the books displayed in this fair are offered with a 10% discount. 

Health Book Fair is being held on the occasion of national Health Day for April 6-12 at 22 Bahman Cultural-Artistic Building of Tabriz.
