On the sidelines of the Sacred Defense Documents Conference, a 16-volume collection is to be unveiled. The collection is prepared out of the documents kept at the Sacred Defense documents center.

IBNA: According to the news headquarters of the conference, even though Sadam supporters provided him with finance, information, weaponry and even human forces during the imposed was of Iraq against Iran, the psychological war led by world media was the case in a different frontier. 

At the beginning days of the war, the media in the world did their best to propagate their own versions of the Iran-Iraq story in the world. 

However, the scenario had to alter in the course of time in response to the sacrifices Iranian defenders exhibited and showed the world how the other side of the coin looked like. 

Iran-Iraq war through World Media is the title of a collection which is slated to be unveiled on the sidelines of the Sacred Defense documents conference. 

The collection is prepared out of he media documents and foreign journals kept at the Sacred Defense documents center. The documents date back to the beginning days of the Iran-Iraq war. 

Established in 2004, the Sacred Defense National documents center holds over 7,881 books titles, over a million written documents and some 300 academic theses. 

The data stored in the center can be reached through 16 information centers as books, journals, audio recordings and CD\'s in English and Persian. The fifth Sacred Defense Documents conference will be held for two days (September 18-19, 2010) at the Documents treasury of the National Library and Archives of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
