The managing director of Cultural Association of Academic books’ publishers said:” following sealing a joint MoU, Association of academic publishers will equip the public libraries of Tehran’s municipality’s cultural and artistic organization.

IBNA: The managing director of Cultural Association of Academic books’ publishers told IBNA that shelves of public libraries and mosques suffer from lack of academic books and the measure will be accomplished in line with filling the gaps.

Mohammad reza Hatami added: “being active in academic publishing filed requires official’s support for producing updated books and mutual cooperation between the field and academic publishers.

He added:” following specializing public libraries according to basic science, human science, medical science, engineering and etc…Tehran’s municipality’s cultural and artistic organization is designed to fulfil requirements of academic stratum and the plan could be useful so far.

Moreover he said: “during a session held with Heidar Kalhor, the head of the book affairs and Tehran’s municipality’s cultural and artistic organization’s libraries, we decided to equip the organization’s public libraries with academic books.
