Baysonghori Shahnameh enjoys international acclaim
Baysonghori Shahnameh was unveiled in Golestan complex. The book was penned by Shah Baysonghor Mirza's order by Jafar Baysonghori. The book holds an international value since it is the only complete version left by. IBNA: Baysonghori Shahnameh was unveiled in Golestan palace with the attendance of senior UNESCO expert, Roslyn Russell. The precious book is counted as an ancient and priceless work of Ferdowsi's Shahnameh throughout the world.
Mas'oud Sharifi, head of Golestan palace pointed out to Baysonghori Shahnameh's registration in Memory of the World in 2007 and said: "The book was penned in 1429 by Jafar Baysonghori in 700 pages."
Moreover the head of the complex's manuscripts said:" The 598 year old book was penned by the order of Shah Baysonghor Mirza in 1429 by Jafar Baysonghori."
Talking about the book's cover Behnaz Tabrizi said that the cover contains crimson, painting and gold.
She went on to say that the book holds an introduction on praising the shah; moreover Jafar Baysonghori has inked the last page.
Furthermore she said that the introduction promoted the shahnameh in Iran and throughout the world. The book holds 700 pages and every page contains 31 lines and every line has 3 verses written in Nastaligh style.
Talking about Nezami's Khamseh which exists in Golestan's treasure as well she added: "Last year the work was registered in National Works' List and currently we are pursuing to register it in Memory of the World."
Talking about Nezami's book she said that the work holds 706 pages and poets including Hafez and Sa'adi chased Nezami's style.
Moreover she talked about Moraga-e- Golshan which is accommodated in Golestan as well and added: "Golestan is house to 262 pages and countries preserve the rest."
Baysonghor, Shahrokh's son, established Herat's miniature painting and calligraphy school. He gathered more than 40 painters and calligraphers to pen shahnameh as Jafar Tabrizi supervised them. As the manuscripts concluded, prince Baysonghor Mirza ordered to add Ferdowsi's biography and the style of the poems to the original text.
The work is distinguished since it is a perfect and intact version of shahnameh and 2nd since it is beautiful and excellence and holds the privileges of a manuscript. Moreover the other main reason is the introduction which was penned for the very first time.
