Writers’ charter underway at Book House

Manager of the Book House Institute said that the ethical charter of writers is being prepared by the institute and will be released in the future.

IBNA: In an interview with IBNA, Ali Shojaei Saein stated that charter will be a help to dissemination of the criticism culture in the country and will set the grounds for the emergence of a dynamic written culture. Moreover, it will be applied as means to prevent book fabrication and creation of poor works.

Saein proposed the charter a year ago at a dinner party held in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Husseini, on the occasion of the Pen Day. In his address at the party, he called on all writers and researchers to follow the ethical principles of writing in their works and stated that the ethical charter of writers would be provided the by institute.

Since then, many sessions have been held in the institute to discuss various aspects of the charter in the presence of Saein, as the main directory of the proposal, and writers, researchers and officials of many cultural communities of the country.
