The 7th International Karachi Book Fair 2011 will be held from December 16 to 20.

IBNA: According to Business Recorder, the event would be organized at Karachi Expo Centre by the Pakistan Publishers and Booksellers Association (PPBA) in association with the National Book Foundation.

The Chairman of PPBA, Aziz Khalid, said that as many as 280 stalls would be set up at the Book Fair.

He stated that more than 150 local and foreign publishers would participate including those from United kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore, Iran, Greece and India.

Academic and literary books in English, Urdu, Arabic, Sindhi and other language would be put on display.

Launching of new books , talks shows and event for children would also be organized during the Book Fair, it was further stated.
