8th Book Criticism Festival wraps up
The 8th Book Criticism Festival has 50 more journals added to the assessed periodicals and winners are selected from 217 different journals, said Ali Shojai Saeen managing director of Iran Book House during the closing ceremony of the 8th Book Criticism Festival. IBNA: During the concluding ceremony held yesterday evening, Kavoos Hassanli stated that contemporary literary criticism of Iran is somehow influenced by the west and has neglected its own critical background.
Then Ali Ojabi, secretary of Book Criticism Festival Said the future is actually based on the past and thought is hereditary, that is, it will be inherited from one generation to the other and criticism plays a key role in this regard.
The session was then followed with awarding the winners, including:
