Articles of Sustainable Tourism Conference to be released

The First International conference on "Sustainable Tourism of the Caspian Sea Coastline: Opportunities and Challenges", which was supposed to be held in May, has been postponed but a book is being released which will hold the abstracts of the conference's English and Persian articles.

IBNA: Secretary of the First International conference on "Sustainable Tourism of the Caspian Sea Coastline: Opportunities and Challenges", Maryam Bijhani said that the conference was postponed due to some executive problems but a book is being released which will hold the abstract of the conference's English and Persian articles.

She added:" The summary of more than 200 English and Persian articles have been edited and prepared for the book. Currently the book is being published."

The original articles will be released as a book as well, she said.

The researchers welcomed some of the conference's themes including "Management; planning and tourism" and "Environment and tourism" while other subjects like "Communication and tourism" and "Education, research and tourism" weren’t heeded.

The First International conference on "Sustainable Tourism of the Caspian Sea Coastline: Opportunities and Challenges" was slated for May 10 and 11, but it is postponed to the second half of the year.
