Collection of documents of laws and letter of credits of constitutional merchants is published in a book named”Business documents of National Council from 1th till 5th round”. It contains many event occurred in the first rounds of National Council.
IBNA: Providing expert of the library, museum and document center of Majlis, Razieh Yusefinia, told IBNA:”the information about business in constitutional period will be ready and available soon for researchers.”

She said it has been 2 years and a half to find and copy more than 500 documents of constitutional merchants, business laws, credit letters and elections, ”all of these documents are firsthand and have not been published anywhere. Even some of them have been listed in documents of Majlis Library.”

Yusefinia mentioned to their historic importance and informing values and said:”these documents can respond to existing questions and reveal missed historic parts for many of history, economic and trade researchers.”

"For compilation of the book, after choosing related documents, extraction and rewriting them in time order, there are some footnotes for unknown people or places.”
Ex-attendant of Majlis Library said:”since it not possible to copy all existing documents, only mother and main documents are introduced and others are referred by number and document address for use of researchers.”

The oldest document of this collection is “statement of inviting shopkeepers for attending in first round of National Council’s election” in 1324 Hegira. She added:”the most recent document of the collection is demand of Qazvin’s shoemakers from Majlis to prevent importing shoe and boot in 1304 Shamsi.”

She declared:"The collection contains 176 main topics and each of these numbers involves several document and annex. The book has two main parts; the main body of book contains collection of documents and the second part contains credit letters of representatives’ of merchants. There are pictures of credit letters of representatives who are also merchants.”

She said:"There are many baseless information and topics about constitutional history and its related events, so publishing these documents seems necessary to have documented and firsthand sources. Researchers and history writers must correct and rewrite the history of this period based on the truth and documents.”

Some of documents which exist in the book are”investigating suggested business companies’ laws", "necessity of correcting election charter from merchant’s point of view”, "demand of all merchants and shopkeepers of Tehran from National Council to correct the situation of judiciary branch”, "primary report of Morgan Shooster about country’s financial situation”, “the list of Tehran’s merchants to be invited to constitutional ceremony”.

She point out:”inserting some pictures of important documents at the end of the book is one the interesting aspects of the book.”

The book is in Majlis research center for doing recent phases of publishing and is programming to be in book stores in two weeks.
