The 2nd ECO International Printing & Packaging Industries Exhibition (PECO) opened this morning (Feb. 8) at the perennial fairground of Mashhad.

IBNA: According to IBNA's correspondent in Mashhad, more than 70 national and foreign companies are attending the fair.
The fair is spanning over an area of 3000sqm hosting representatives of foreign countries including Iran, Turkey, China and Tajikistan.

The fair is supposed to be held biennially with the participation of ECO member countries print and packaging representatives.
During the fair's opening ceremony the deputy of ECO Cultural Institute said:" One of the fair's achievements should be identifying the needs of the region's print industry."

Mostafa Abtahi added that the print needs of the ECO member countries should be identified and the target market should be recognized through which plans should be made."

In other news Khorasan Razavi's governor talked about the 33rd victory anniversary of the Islamic Republic of Iran saying:" The base of the Iran's Islamic Revolution was a cultural revolution; amid which the print industry flourished as well."

Mahmoud Salehi added:" Iran is among the first 10 leading countries in the top 10 sciences which is seeking to exchange bilateral experiences with regional Muslim and ECO countries."
The 2nd ECO International Printing & Packaging Industries Exhibition will wrap up on Saturday, Feb.11.
