  "Why did Benerci kill himself" marketed after 10 years

Translated into Persian by Rasul Yunan, two works of Nâzım Hikmet have been reprinted in Iran. The works include a novel-poetry collection named "Why did Benerci kill himself" as well as an anthology of his poems which was released some 10 years ago.
IBNA: During this week, two books of Nâzım Hikmet entitled "Why did Benerci kill himself" and "A bowl of honey", translated by Rasul Yunan, were reprinted by Mina publications. The works were released some 10 years ago.

"Why did Benerci kill himself" is an astonishing novel-poetry book by Nâzım Hikmet. The book is about a young man who seems perfect to his friends and a wild man according to his enemies. Finally he commits suicide. The book is themed on a social-romantic subject.

Moreover "A bowl of honey" is an anthology of Hikmet's poems and indeed were the Iranian translator's favorites.

Nâzım Hikmet Ran was a Turkish poet, playwright, novelist and memoirist. He was acclaimed for the "lyrical flow of his statements". Described as a "romantic communist" and "romantic revolutionary", he was repeatedly arrested for his political beliefs and spent much of his adult life in prison or in exile. His poetry has been translated into more than fifty languages

Rasul Yunan is an Iranian translator. The selections of two of his poetry collections have been released in a book entitled "A river which passed the paintings". The work was rendered into Armenian and was printed in Iran.
