Masoud Olia will be hosting a 10-session course of "An introduction to Hermeneutics" in the Book City. The sessions will be centered on hermeneutics' processes and approaches since its beginning till the contemporary era.

IBNA: According to the public relations department of Book City, the sessions will be an opportunity for the individuals who are interested in philosophy to get familiar with the most important concepts, processes and approaches of hermeneutics since its emergence.

The sessions will evaluate the basics of hermeneutics in the forms of theories, its understanding and interpretation in Schleiermacher and Dilthey's works and Romantic Hermeneutics.

The approaches of hermeneutics in the contemporary era in particular the ontological approach in the hermeneutics views of Heidegger, Gadamer and Ricœur, according to their works, will be discussed as well.

The courses will be held on Tuesdays at 2pm at the Book City Cultural Center located at the third alley of Bucharest Street, Shahid Beheshti Avenue.
