  Laureates of Gam-e Aval announced

The panel of judges for the 5th Gam-e Aval Award has announced the award's winners and praiseworthy works. The closing ceremony of the festival was held yesterday (October 30, 2011) in Sanandaj.
IBNA: The winners of the award numbered 14 and 4 praiseworthy works were lauded in the ceremony. The pieces were picked from among 1760 works submitted to the secretariat of the award.

Various categories of works are screened by the panel of judges for the award including adult fiction, children's poetry, children's fiction, theology, ethics, mysticism, Quranic sciences, Hadith and biographies of the infallibles (Prophet Mohammad's household). To be eligible for scrutiny by judges the works need to be their writers' first work. Assessments encompassed all the works published in the previous year in the Iranian calendar in the country.

In children's section, two winners and three praiseworthy works were venerated in the ceremony.
