IBNA: Manushehr Zadali said that publishers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Iraq are willing to attend the fair. The book fair’s best venue will be the building of West Azerbaijan’s international fair’s institute which is located in Urmia. If a proper budget is allocated, the cultural event will be held with the cooperation of the officials of West Azerbaijan’s Islamic Guidance and Culture office.

Moreover he said that the province needs separate specialized academic and children’s book fair.

Talking about the time of Children’s book fair and the Academic book fair he added: “ If the agreements are made, the fairs will be held in autumn.”

Cultural deputy of West Azerbaijan’s Islamic Guidance and Culture office then talked about the plans of promoting the culture of reading in the province through donating books to libraries of educational centers, Quranis institutes, schools and universities. He said that during sprint more than 50,000 books were distributed in the province’s educational and cultural centers.
