Accommodating 2000 manuscripts Malek Museum Digital Library kicks off
Managing director of Malek National Museum and Library talked to IBNA about the inauguration of Malek Digital Library and said:" Hope the digital library will be a significant reference and source for researchers and scholar." IBNA: Seyyed Mojtaba Husseini said:" Last year concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (SA), the Digital Library's establishment was promised. Currently its first phase kicked off on Imam Reza's birth anniversary."
The first phase of Malek National Museum and Library inaugurated with 2000 manuscripts and lithographs which will hopefully boost in the next phases, he said.
The first phase is house to 46 lead-print and 89 lithographed volumes, 500 photos, 30 map pieces, 60 pages of documents, and complete series of 20 periodicals.
The digital library of Malek consists of 40 volumes of the Holy Quran, 600 titles of Islamic Theology, 600 titles on literature, 250 titles of history and biography, and 200 titles of bibliography and vocabulary.
