'De Europa y America' a collection of writings and articles by Gabriel Garcia Marquez penned in a five year span of time is converted into Persian by Bahman Farzaneh.
IBNA: A selection of a larger body of voluminous 'De Europa y America' penned by Gabriel Garcia Marquez is marketed by Qoqnoos Publications. In this collection Marquez discusses various issues of Europe and Latin America from a mysterious crime in Rome to odd events of Venetian film festival.

The miscellaneous articles by this Colombian writer were penned during September 1955 to April 1960 and as Bahman Farzaneh has stated, most of these articles could be also read as short stories because of Marquez's unique writing style.

Gabriel Garcia Marquez was born in 1927 and could win the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982. He is pioneer of magic realism and his 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' still shines on top of world literature.

Bahman Farzaneh is a well-known translator of Marquez's works to Persian. He is now translating a biographical book on Marquez written by Gerald Martin.

Marquez's 'De Europa y America' is translated into Persian by Bahman Farzaneh and recently released to the market by Qoqnoos Publications in 2200 copies and 252 pages.
