Mohammad Husseini announced Sacred Defense books in all Iranian libraries
In an address in the 1st Martyred IT Engineers Commemoration, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Husseini, said that by the Sacred Defense week all the country's libraries would be equipped with Sacred Defense books. IBNA: The 1st Martyred IT Engineers Commemoration was held this Saturday in the presence of minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Husseini, Reza Taghipour (minister of communications and IT), Commander Mohammad Reza Naghdi (head of the Basij Organization), Isa Zarepour (secretary of the ceremony), a number of military officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Islamic Revolution Army of Guardians. The event was arranged at Tehran University.
In his opening speech, Isa Zarepour stated that the permanent secretariat of the commemoration has been established to deal with the event's issues on a daily basis, adding: "A book has been devised on the data collected from 386 IT martyrs which will be published by the end of the coming week."
Later, Mohammad Husseini addressed the audience underlining the role IT engineers had in the Sacred Defense operations. He stated that "Martyrs are the best human-making patterns for the modern generation in the society. The literati and artists should therefore try to transfer the true visage of the martyrs to the mentioned generation. Although a number of positive activities have been done so far, the field needs a lot more to do give its vast potentials and stretch."
He went on to point to the equipment of libraries with Sacred Defense book and stated that the project began on May 24, 2011 parallel with the anniversary of Khoramshahr liberation and will end by the Sacred Defense Week. Subject to the project, he added, all the countries in the Islamic Republic of Iran will be equipped with titles about the Iraq-imposed war on Iran.
Later in the ceremony, Commander Mohammad Reza Naghdi, head of the Basij Organization, delivered a speech in which he stated "We enjoy richest library reserves which comprise books like the Holy Quran, Nahjolbalagheh, Sahife Sadjadieh, and martyrs' memoirs and wills which can be utilized to transfer Islam's human-making message to the humanity by extracting humanity principles from them. I hope the organization will take an effective step in this regard."
The ceremony closed with unveiling of Memorial of FAVA Martyred Engineers book and software program by Reza Taghipour, minister of communication and IT.
