Master Shahryar Congress underway

The International Congress of Master Shahryar will be held on September 17-18 in Tehran with focus on 19 research interests. The unpublished books and theses related to each field of interest will be further published under the support of the congress.

IBNA: The International Mater Shahryar Congress will be held in Tehran on September 17-18, 2012. 

All professors and researchers can participate in the conference by submitting their works in the form of articles, books, theses and poems to the secretariat of the congress no later than August 8. 

"The language of Shahryar in Heidar Baba", "Shahryar and his influence over Persian literature", "Shahryar and his influence over Turkish Literature", "Shahryar and New Poetry", "The role of Shahryar in unifying the people of the region", "Proverb and allusion in Shahryar's poetry", "Shahryar and the Islamic Revolution", "The reflection of Shahryar in the thought of other ltierati", "Hafez and Saadi's share in Shahryar's poetic creativity", "Intellectual aspects of Shahryar", "Shahryar and the discourse of Islamic Revolution", "Islam and Guardianship in the poetry of Shahryar", "Shahryar from the viewpoint of the Supreme Leader", "Shahryar among other nations", "Islamic-Iranian identity in the poetry of Shahryar", "The position of Shahryar in arts", etc.

According to Paizak Paluj, manager of the committee of this conference, the conference hall of Milad Tower or the Great Gathering Hall of the National Library of Iran are alternative choices for the location of the conference. She went on to say that a number of received theses and books on the above subjects will be further published by the congress.

Seyyed Mohammad-Hossein Behjat Tabrizi, pseudonym Shahryar, was an Iranian poet from Azarbaijan who composed poems in Persian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani. He was born in Tabriz and according to his testament he was buried in the Poets Cemetery of this city. The day of his death is known as the Day of Persian Poetry in Iranian calendar.
