A collection of 21st century Japanese plays, Chado Japanese Way of Tea, History of Art in Japan, History of Japan, and Japanese Samurai Code are some of the titles displayed on Japanese culture and literature.

IBNA: Japan stall at the 25th Tehran Book Fair is as well-organized and active as before. 

The large area devoted to Japanese embassy is decorated in the form of a huge Japanese flag within which you can find books neatly classified to different categories such as Japanese literature, Japanese language, children's books, Manga, Origami, culture, interior design, Japanese food, sports, etc. 

Multifunctional books for children 

In this section there are books specifically made for unseeing children made with a new print technology that laminates brail fonts over ordinary colorful pages so that it can be used by the seeing and unseeing as the same time. Special touch books for kids are also displayed in this section. 

An overview of Japan's great earthquake 

On March 11, 2011 a great earthquake turned global eyes on Japan and befalling catastrophes. Yet the Japanese did not take it tragically and instead have started publishing a considerable number of researches on the incident. "Earthquake of Japan", "Earthquake and the Nuke", and "Earthquake Consequences" are some of these titles published in Japanese that are displayed in the 25 Tehran Book Fair. "Prayer for Japan" containing condolences and sympathetic messages of people from all over the world is another volume displayed on this bookshelf. 

Up-to-date and ordered, like Japanese Culture 

Japanese people regard cultural events as an opportunity to manifest their thought and culture, and therefore they spend time and taste on organizing and decorating the stalls they are given. And this is revealed from the peace and order of their stall in the fair. 

According to Reza Maleki, manager of Japanese Embassy's stall, all books displayed in TIBF 25 are 2012 releases that are appropriated by Japan Foundation. But unfortunately they have no sale licenses despite the visitors' requests especially for architecture and English versions of Japanese books. 

Maleki added that like the previous year, all books displayed in this stall will be dedicated to a great library in Iran after the book fair is over, presumably to the library of Astan Quds Razavi or that of Husseinieh Ershad. 

Supplementary activities of Iran-Japan Friendship Society in TIBF 

Not far from Japan's stall, a space is dedicated to Iran-Japan Friendship Society where you can visit a Japanese lady in traditional suits that is making Origami shapes for the visitors.
The stall holds Origami Teaching sessions on Fridays during the Book Fair run.
