During the banquet of the Journalist's Day, held Sunday night August 8 in Enqelab Hotel, the Islamic Guidance and Culture Minister appreciated all book journalists and said that the president's gift to the journalists as well as their insurance will be pursued.

IBNA: The ceremony which kicked off at 19:30 in Enqelab Hotel was attended by many book fields' activists.

Moreover the Islamic Guidance and Culture Ministry's cultural deputy, Bahman Dorri, the head of fictional literature foundation, Mahmoud Salari, the Book House Institute's general manager, Ali Shojaee Saeen and the ministry's studying department, Mostafa Omidi participated.

During the ceremony Shojaee Saeen lauded the day and expressed his gratitude.

Moreover Arts University professor and book journalist, Amir Bala-zadeh said that the financial problems of book field's journalists should be considered.

Furthermore Fereydoon Sedighi, journalist and communications professor said: "Newspapers and journals should introduce books more than any other time. The matter occasionally is being fulfilled in public journals and specialized journals don’t consider it as it has to be."

He went on to say that some journals don’t classify their readers and in fact all of them aim elites so only some special books are introduced.

In other news the chief editor of Iran Book News Agency(IBNA), Ali Agha-Ghaffar said that the agency's Spanish page inaugurated while he invited all the field's journalists to cooperate with IBNA with presenting analysis, critics and books introductions.

Following that some journalists talked about their problems with the cultural deputy, Bahman Dorri.

Delivering a short speech, Dorri said that previously I was a journalist who was very proud of his job. He added that if you desire to be an active journalist you should read and study more.

Finally the Culture Minister said: "The government held a meeting on Saturday in which the journalist's critical issues were discussed in particular that the job was ratified hard and harmful.

Moreover he said that the insurance matter as well as the president's journalist gist will be pursued (In a ceremony held on Saturday the president had promised to donate 400$ to married journalists and 300$ to the single ones).
