Provincial fair introduces Kurdish language, culture
The executive manager of Kurdistan Provincial Book Fair said that different programs are being held at the fair each representing the province's cultures. IBNA: Shabbu Bakhsha said: "Every night during the book fair, a cultural program is held which is the symbol of the province's cultures."
Different cities of Kurdistan's province including Sanandaj, Kamyaran, Saghez and Baneh have planned the programs.
The programs include performance of traditional music, poetry reading as well as introducing the region's culture, Bakhsha added.
She then talked about the sessions which are held in the fair saying that the session of "The best book" was held on Saturday with the attendance of some Kurdish journalists and the manager of the province's Guidance office. The session was held for improving the festival of top books which will be held in Kamyaran in autumn.
Some thousand people visited the fair during the first day. Though the weather was too hot, the event was welcomed warmly. Id : 142619 |
