In women authores congress Mohsen Parviz: Writers should think on everlasting works
In women authores congress, deputy of cultural affairs of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry, Dr. Mohsen Parviz said:” if we are supposed to write, it is better to think about creating everlasting works, when “Soo va Shoon” was written by Simin Daneshvar, many works by men was nothing except verbosity.” IBNA: Parviz said: ”This meeting is a kind of primarily acquaintance and expressing readiness by story literature foundation so that works of valuable writers could be supported seriously. It is clear that many women and men writers did not have opportunity to express themselves before Islamic Revolution and recognizing their works is due to the revolution.”
Cultural deputy of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry added :”Sometimes life distress or hustle causes to publish works which can’t be permanent artistically. But in some occasions there is a opportunity to create a good work for writers by arranging executive institutes of the country.”
He pointed to the traits of lasting works and said :” If we are supposed to write, it is better think about creating lasting works. When I criticized a story , I expected not to omit a word while I was reading it; sometimes it is even possible to omit some parts of a book. It is definitely because there is no though or experience behind it.”
He pointed out : ”The first meeting of the congress is promising that attempts of story literature foundation is taken seriously because of presence and welcome of writers. I hope continuity of such congresses, give choice to writers to change views and express their opinions.”
General Director of story literature foundation, Mahmood Salari mentioned the approaches of the foundation in supporting women story writers and said : ”The foundation tends to work in order to solve spiritual and economic problems not as a guardian but a servant.”
He refered to some services of the foundation in provinces and added : ”Holding educational workshops in provinces is one of the foundation’s activities; there are many good talents in provinces, if they are identified , they will be considered effective paces in this arena.”
He added: ”We hope you don’t deprive ourselves from your works, so we can be affective in promoting the story literature by publishing them.”
Manijeh Armin, a writer said :” I had a complete research on Constitution. Here I don’t mention the political goals and content of the event; but in every civil movement that has happened since now, women have been pioneer.” The writer of the “Night and Calendar” explained about some words of the Mohammad Reza Sarshar at the beginning of the meeting :”Mr. Sarshar said that most women writers have written about women characters and have less attention to social issues; whereas I have read 40- 50 books about “subject” of my novels.”
“I don’t agree with masculine and feminine literature; but basically writers are bisexual creatures and mean they are multi dimensions. In another word, men writers have more feminine qualities than other men and women writers have more masculine qualities compared to other women. Many successful men writers are those who have used more powerful feminine aspect in their works”, she said. She added : ”Women see details but men are holistic. So women can be more successful in writing stories; if they have powerful researches about the subject.”
She pointed out :” I hope the foundation can be effective in literature. In this road we should not imitate the West; we should create Iran literature which brings us close to the perception.”
