Literary translation of Nahjolbalagheh to be published
Seyyed Ali Mousavi Garmaroudi has finished almost half of the literary translation of Nahjolbalagheh. IBNA: Garmaroudi has previously done something similar on the holy Quran Sahifeh Sadjadiyeh and has so far completed one third of the Persian rendition of Nahjolbalagheh, a collection of imam Ali's sayings, letters and sermons.
Garmaroudi maintains that translation is a work of art which cannot be replicated. Once a translator feels the necessity of doing a translation he does it no matter how many times the works has been previously dubbed into another language. Every translation has it own specificities which open new doors to the readers.
The translation will be published by Ghadayani Publications.
Ali Nameh (book of Ali) is the last work compiled by Garmaroudi in Iran. The book encompasses 4,234 verses from the oldest Shia poetry collections on Imam Ali. Id : 139659 |
