An Azerbaijan field and Iran contemporary history researcher seeks to indicate the adventure, and finale of homelessness of 25 thousand deceived Iranian by the so called Liberal cult in a book entitled: “Democrat cult narrated in the words of its victims and devotees “on the verge of 65th anniversary of the Democrat Cult’s collapse.

IBNA: In an interview with IBNA, Ali Derazi noting that he writes this work for Iran National Library and Documentation Center, using archival documents, said: Democrat Cult led by Seyed ja’far Pishevari, asked by Stalin and under the supports of the past Soviet Union has begun its official activities in Iran, Northern and North Western regions of the country, since 1945.

Referring to the point that the grounds for Democrat cult’s birth were provided after the World War II, when Iran was controlled under the British and Russia colonialism, he added: "At that time large numbers of Iranians were deceived by the liberal slogans of this cult leaders which were based on the Soviet interests and these people were often unconsciously attracted towards this organization. Just one year after the cult had started its official activities, Qavam Al-Saltaneh was able to provide the grounds for Democrats collapse, applying his political tricks, thoughtfulness and also the promises he gave the Russians.

The researcher of Azerbaijan field continued: With the collapse of this cult, more than 25000 Iranians who were considered as the deceived of school and had done many betrayals against Iran, with the hope of having Stalin and the Soviet Union’s supports, Fled to the various parts of the country, including Kazakhstan, Republic of Azerbaijan and ..., unaware that the country with its concentration camps in areas such as Siberia and Kazakhstan, and imprisonment of these people, had no aim but to destroy them.

He recalled this event in the political history of Iran as a "historical tragedy" and said: After passing of 65 years of this event, unfortunately there are still people who have not realized the truth of this cult and still think that Democrats cult had due goals! In this study, I am going to reveal the bitter reality of Democrats cult organization, through making dialogues with some of the survivors of the migration (large homelessness), including close relatives, spouses and children or through exploring their documents and manuscripts. 

Derazi called reviewing the Memories of the period of captivity, and Democrat cult’s teachings and slogans, memories and reasons for Iranian refugees who fled and the events happened to them after they escaped, as the included contents of this book and expressed: due to the long time which has passed from this event, majority of fans and deceived ones of this cult have died through, but according to research, some of these people who were at that time at low age: between 15 to 20 years old, are now living in some areas. I decide to retell the truth of the historical tragedy through being more identified with these people, interviewing with them and in some cases; with their children and relatives.

He pointed out that some people of the Northern and North Western of Iran, like Azerbaijan, Gilan, Astara and Hamedan were also deceived by the Democrats cult leaders, and said: "There are still people who think Democrats were liberal, but they are not aware of the issues behind them. Using the archival documents and the documents of Iran National Library, this book is going to retell the cult followers’ disasters and the crimes they committed.

Referring to Azerbaijan scholars’ measures against the activities and the members of this cult, the researcher of documents and contemporary history of Iran said: "Democrats have never obtained a place in the hearts of the region people and eventually with the policies of Qavam A-Saltaneh as well as people’s actions, the life of this puppet cult ended.

The author of "Forgotten Generation" described the terrible fate of the cult leaders as one of the interesting points of this current and said: "After the Russians observed that this cult leaders’ goals were changing after its collapse, they killed " Seyed ja’far Pishevari ", the cult main leader in a faked accident, near Baku, but doing such action, will never close the case of 25 thousand of homeless Iranians and their families who suffered lots of hardships.

pointing out that some of the refugees alone, and some with their family were forced to emigrate and escape from Iran, he said: "Many of these people perished after being trapped in the Soviet Union labor camps or caught in the country\'s prisons and Some of others also lost their families in that territory and suffered many disasters. Many families in Iran were bowed down by the grief of their children, the homeless refugees who fled to their uncertain fates towards various Soviet republics and Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan Democrat cult, (the Turkish "Azerbaijan Democratic Firqhasi") is a political organization established in Tabriz by" Seyed ja’far Pishevari ", in 1945.In September of 1945 Azerbaijan Democrat cult asked for Azerbaijan autonomy.

When the World War II ended, the Soviet Union troops were still present in Azerbaijan. Pishevary who had been elected as the representative of Tabriz in the National parliament, was deprived of his right of representation due to the influence of politicians affiliated to the court, and despite the support of national politicians such as Mohammad Mossadegh, was not able to get the credential. This motivated him to establish the Azerbaijan Democrat cult and trying for Azerbaijan’s autonomy.

After a while, the cult with the support of the Soviet Union army at that time the North of Iran was still occupied by it- approximately conquered the whole of Azerbaijan through implementation of a few coups. Contrary to Tabriz garrison, (commanded by General Derakhshan); Urmia garrison resistance (commanded by colonel Zangeneh) was very severe and finally, after a week, with the direct involvement of the Red Army, Urmia Garrison failed as well.

Since the collapse of the cult in Iran and the escape of its leaders and activists to the Soviet Union, the Democrats cult has polar political presence out of Iranian.
