Introducing all Iranian manuscripts in 8000 pages
Compiler of “Tabular of Iran’s manuscripts” informed about compiling “Bibliography of Iranian epistle” and said :”it is planned this collection which introduces all existing Iranian manuscripts, be published in a year and in 8000 pages by Parliament library.” IBNA: Managing director of Aljavad cultural research institute of Mashhad city, Hojatoleslam Mostafa Derayati told IBNA :”recently Majlis published “tabular of Iran’s manuscripts” in 12 volumes which introduces the list of epistles. The new collection completes it and introduces the bibliography of existing manuscripts in Iran.”
He said :”the new collection will be published in 6 or 7 volumes. Manuscripts as a king of document have many usages and provide information for researchers. Direct usage of this collection is finding a distinct manuscript. Since all manuscripts are documents in history, they offer information about personalities, special regions of Iran in past, knowing changes of handwriting and the fact that which works were transcribed more.”
He emphasized that this work can introduced Iran’s scientific background and written heritage in a appropriate way and declared :”this work is not limited to a specific time or place and offer bibliography of all Iran’s manuscripts to readers and researchers.”
Hojatoleslam Derayati said :”working on this collection has started since 1375 (1996), it, as a specialty collection, aims to inform about manuscripts.”
