  The quality of Poetry has increased highly

Ali Ojebi announced expertised changes in the bylaws of Book of the Year Award

While emphasizing that literature is the base of the culture in the country, Ali Ojebi said that this year the poems sent to the secretariat of the award have a highly increased quality.
IBNA: In a conversation with IBNA, Ali Ojebi said: In some of the mutual fields if a work wins Jalal Prize it will also be awarded in the book of the year, but if it is not it will be re-examined for Book of the Year Award and the jury panel may come to a different decision.

The secretary of Book of the Year Award reiterated: The more poetry and fiction is developed in a country, the more that country becomes creative.

He added: The first time I was chosen as the secretariat of the Islamic republic of Iran Book of the Year Award I realized that some of the articles in the bylaws of this award should be changed because of changes in the situation.

He said that these changes were done with consultation with experts and university professors.

Ojebi said: The difference between this award and the other awards is that they are based on the comparison between the works, but for this award each book is examined individually and receives points for its quality.

The change in the scientific panel of the award is one of the suggestions for the new bylaw. Ojebi said: This panel will make sure hat the juries are examining the books based on the bylaws and rules.

According to Ojebi there are also other changes that will be announced after this year's concluding ceremony. They will be examined in the supreme council of cultural revolution and after the approvement they will be taken into consideration for the next year's awads.
