Based on an agreement reached between officials of Hormozgan province and the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance, the Yade Yare Mehrban book fair will be held in Bandar Abbas.

IBNA: A provincial book fair ran through January 14-20 in the city and the new book fair is tried to be held a month after the exhibition in the city. 

The agreement was signed parallel with the provincial book fair of Bandar Abbas between Hussein Hashemi (Hormozgan governor) and Mohsen Parivz, cultural deputy of guidance ministry. 

The Yade Yare Mehrban (transliterated as remembering the fine friend) book fair is designed to help equip school libraries and has been held in some of the cities of Iran including Tehran and Esfahan. 

A while ago, Dr Parviz said the book fair will be extended to different cities of the country. "We plan to provide facilities for schools for purchasing their desired books." 

He has viewed expansion of the book fair as one of the goals of the cultural deputy in the present year.
