Children’s books break the records
During the 3rd week of Tir (4th Iranian month), the publication of children’s books broke the records, this time releasing the lowest number of books during the past two months. IBNA: During the period a total of 117 book titles were released for Iranian children of which 91 were compilations and 26 were translations.
From a different point of view, 18 first prints and 99 reprints were released.
On average 3351 copies were printed for every volume.
The most prolific author was Dariush Damavandi for penning two book titles.
Some of the first prints included Kafka And the Traveling Doll, translated by Ramin Molaee, and “Arezo and my father’s mirror”.
