Union of Tehran Publishers and Booksellers is planning for interested publishers' visit to international Paris and Bologna exhibitions.

IBNA: According to Mahmoud Mmouzegar, secretary of the Union of Tehran Publishers and Booksellers, the 32nd Paris International Book Fair will be held from 19 to 21 March 2012. 

Visiting various pavilions, communication with publishers in different fields and getting familiar with sideline programs of Paris and Bologna fairs are included in the union's visit plans, he added. 

Amouzegar went on to explain that the union is attempting to expand interactions between Iranian and European publishers and added: "The union members will aid publishers in negotiations and whenever interpreting is required." 

He also announced the union's plan to take Iranian publishers to Bologna Book Fair for children in Italy. It will be held from March 19-21, 2012. 

"Every year a large number of Iranian publishers of children's books take pavilions in this fair. For instance, last year a private publisher attended the book fair along with three governmental publishers," he added. 

Amouzegar asserted that all publishers interested in attending the exhibitions should submit their application no later than Sunday (February 12) to be introduced to the French Embassy by the union.
