Culture minister visits Islamic Awakening stall at TIBF

3 May 2012 15:00

Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Husseini, visited the stall of Islamic Awakening at the 25th Tehran International Book Fair.

IBNA: “My advice for the fair’s visitors is to visit the fair with calmness and do not rush to visit all the sections in a day,” said Husseini after paying a visit to the book fair in its first running day.

He said that the fair is so big that one would not be able to see all its parts in a day. “So, visitors are advised to attend the fair in several days to access their desired sections more easily.”

He further predicted that the turnout of the book fair’s visitors will be more than all its previous editions.

He went on to say that the current edition of the fair is different from its former editions; firstly, because of its numerous new sideline activities and, secondly, because the international section of the fair is more weighty than former editions despite all the sanctions imposed against Iran.

The 25th Tehran International Book Fair is being held at Tehran's Grand Imam Khomeini Prayer Ground and will run through May 12, 2012.
