Master codicologists to be hailed

Secretary of the 11th Ceremony of honoring manuscript's supporters said:" Four codicologists will be hailed in the Ceremony of honoring manuscript's supporters namely Kazem Modir-shanechi, Fazel Motlagh-yazdi, Mehdi Valaee and Abdulah Nourani.
IBNA: According to the public relations department of National Library and Archives of Iran(NLAI), the deputy of NLAI Habib-ullah Azimi said that the conference's call has been released for manuscript's indexers and codicologists' participation and added:" The conference will be themed on codicology, manuscript's indexing, editing and reviewing manuscripts as well as articles, theses and research plans."
He added:" The ceremony will honor Mashhad Ferdowsi University's late indexing professor Kazem Modir-shanechi, Mashhad Ferdowsi University's late indexing professor Fazel Motlagh-yazdi, late professor of editing and reviewing manuscripts Mehdi Valaee and finally Abdulah Nourani who is a codicology professor."
He went on to say that the 11th edition will be held outside Tehran for a change and in order to invite the manuscript's activists to collaborate. This year we have decided to honor codicology professors of Khorasan and in the following years the ceremony will be held in other provinces in which manuscript's activists are working.
He underlined:" During the previous edition figures including Abdullah Anvar, Akbar Mahdavi, Seyyed Ahmad Husseini Ashkouri, Abdul-hussein HAeri, Ahmad Monzavi, Mohammad Taghi Danesh-pajhoh, Asghar Mahdavi and Amir- Jalaluddin Mohaddas Ormavi were hailed."
Moreover NLAI deputy added that during the sessions held with the NLAI manager Dr. Salahi, Astan Quds Razavi officials, Islamic Research Foundation and Khorasan Raazavi governor, we decided to hold the Ceremony of honoring manuscript's supporters on November 20 in Mashhad's Astan Quds Razavi library.
Centers which hold codicology works will send their works to the conference's secretary and as soon as we receive the works they will be evaluated by related field professors.
According to the secretary the 11th Ceremony of honoring manuscript's supporters, during the ceremony 30 of the field's activists will be hailed with precious awards.
