Iran's room in Tuzla's Public and University Library, "Derviš Sušić" has been equipped with the cooperation of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO).
IBNA: The public relations department of ICRO established Iran's room in 1997 according to a joint agreement sealed between ICRO and Tuzla's Public and University Library, "Derviš Sušić".

Programs including holding religion democracy seminars in Iran, today Iran's photo fair, performing live Iranian music in Tuzla, cooperating in unveiling Hafez ghazal's in Bosnian as well as cultural visits for students will be held.

The room was equipped in 2 phases with 250 books, publications of ICROs in Sarajevo and Zagreb, Molasadra foundation, Ibn-Sina institute, Al-hoda international publication and works released by Islamic Though Foundation.

A remarkable enrichment and a new quality in the Library's holdings are collections of materials in foreign languages, established within the foreign cultural centers that have been placed under the roof of this house. Austrian Library, American Reading Room, Iranian Library and French Cultural Center meet with their respective programs an increasing interest for foreign languages in our milieu, and support the corresponding programs initiated recently at the Tuzla University.

The work of foreign libraries and cultural centers within our house speaks, among other things, about dynamic international activities that the Library developed having made cooperation with similar institutions from USA, Malaysia, Germany, Austria, Croatia, France, Netherlands, Great Britain and other countries.
