The opening ceremony of the 25th Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) will be held on Tuesday, May 1, with the attendance of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

IBNA: The 25th edition of Tehran International Book Fair will inaugurate tomorrow, May 1, and will open to the public on Wednesday, May 2.

Over 4000 domestic and foreign publishers will attend the book fair displaying some 400,000 book titles. The 25th edition will sprawl over an area of 130,000sqm.

TIBF, as Iran's most significant cultural event, is held annually in May since 1988.

The 25th Tehran International Book Fair will be held from May 2 to 12, 2012 at Tehran's Grand Imam Khomeini Prayer Ground with the motto of "A Quarter of a Century of Cultural Jihad".
