The press conference of honoring the laureates of Book of the Year Award was held Sunday evening, May 6, in the 25th Tehran International Book Fair's stall of Soureh Mehr publication. The director of Hozeh Honari(Art bureau) said that the books of Soureh Mehr attend different national festivals and I think the Book of the Year Award is the most significant one."

IBNA: The session was attended by the director of Art bureau Mohsen Momeni Sharif, translator of “Now that blessed orphan” Batul Meshkin-fam, author of "The War Road" Mansour Anvari as well as Amir Hussein Fardi, manager of Houzeh Honari's literary creation's center.

At the beginning, Mohsen Momeni Sharif said that some of Soureh Mehr's books had the opportunity to attend national and international festivals and among them the Book of the Year Award was the most remarkable one.

He added: "In the novel's section, "The War Road" by Mansour Anvari and in the translation section, “Now that blessed orphan” converted by Batul Meshkin-fam were Soureh Mehr publication's selected works in Book of the Year Award."

"The War Road" was the first novel meeting the standards of the Islamic Republic of Iran in its own field, he added.

He went on to say that the novel, for the first time, considered fields including religion and spirituality which is rare in our fiction.

Momeni Sharif added that the translation of “Now that blessed orphan” by Mohammad Reza Sarshar, translated into Arabic by Batul Meshkin-fam was another great work.

He added that the book is a precious work to be presented to the World of Islam and added:" Meshkin-fam was an Arabic language and literature professor at Al-zahra University."

University professors can spend a part of their researches on translating precious books into other languages, he noted.

For introducing the literature of the Islamic Revolution to the world we should speed up the reverse translation movement, Momeni Sharif said.

He went on to say that the publisher of “Now that blessed orphan” was Lebanese and we are trying to present the book at the TIBF as well. Moreover the other sections are presenting 8 books which are rendered into Urdu and Turkish.

Furthermore Meshkin-fam said:" I have spent best of my three years translating the book which is written about Prophet Mohammad (AS)."

The book was even considered by the Supreme leader, she added.

She added:" The book holds a beautiful fiction and for translating a part of it, I firstly tried to understand its meaning, with the help of Persian literature professors, and then translated it.

She added:" The Arab world is eager to read the novels of Hozeh Honari. Soureh Mehr publications should render its noted books, particularly the Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense novels, into Arabic and release them in Arab-language countries."

In other news, Amir Hussein Fardi said:" "The War Road" is unique in the literature of Islamic Revolution. It holds attractive features which draws the reader's attraction. The novel is a distinguished collection in the field of contemporary literature."
