Hormozgan to host a fair of Quranic software, books

A week long fair is to be mounted in Bandar-Abbas, kicking off on August 26, displaying 10,000 religious books and 2000 types of Quranic software.
IBNA: An official of Hormozgan’s secretariat of the artistic and cultural centers of the province’s mosques said: “The Fair will be house to 10 book pavilions themed on Mahdism, Qadir, introduction of scholar’s books, sacrifice and martyrdom, prayers and Sahife Sajjadieh.”
Hujjat al-Islam Ahmad Pahlevai added: “Publication of books themed on religion will be supported and so far some 6 titles have been released in 3000-5000 copies.”
Moreover he added that some 1500 books have been distributed in the province’s mosques and their artistic and cultural centers will be equipped with books as well.
He went on to say that more than 10,000 religious and scientific books have been donated to the mosques’ libraries; they are being distributed from the beginning of Ramadan.
