Executive manager of the Book House institute said books are in a superior place in Iran than on the neighboring countries and the book releases in Iran outnumber them in those countries.
IBNA: In an interview with IBNA, Ali Shojaei Saein spoke about his recent proposal to devise an ethics charter for writing and stated that so far near 10 sessions have been made to discuss different angles of the chamber at the House of the Literati.
He expressed hope that the charter will soon be prepared given the fact that a wide spectrum of writers have been asked about various aspects of the charter.
He censured the recent media brawl about the charter and said that by the charter we mean to give our backing to publication and circulation of valuable works in the country.
Elsewhere in his interview, Saein posited that publication and distribution in Iran is better than its neighboring countries, however, the number of book copies published in every print-run in Iran is lower than the average in the countries which should be considered in the future policy makings of the Book House.
