The final title of the Manuscripts, Lithographic Books and Documents Databank will be announced tomorrow (Tuesday, February 9, 2010) in a ceremony by head of the Majlis Library, Museum and Documents Center.

IBNA: A gathering will be held tomorrow at the parliamentary library in the presence of the library's director Dr Rasoul Jafarian and technical controller of the library Maziar Parviz. 

As one of the programs of the gathering, the databank of documents, manuscripts and lithographic books will be launched domestically. In the near future the databank will be published online to be accessed by internet users all around the world. 

It is estimated that the library holds some 24,000 manuscripts and that databank will encompass as many as 5,000 of them. What is more, the number will increase to 10,000 by the arrangement of the 23rd Tehran International Book Fair which will be held at Tehran's Grand Imam Khomeini Prayer Ground from 4 to May 14, 2010.
